COURSE CREDIT
Credit can be provided for the Ecosa semester and workshop programs through Prescott College or through your own institution.
CREDIT THROUGH A HOME INSTITUTION
If you are enrolled at an accredited institution you may be able to receive credit through that institution for Ecosa Institute programs. Many schools have independent study opportunities, study abroad, and elective courses that can be used for programs such as those at Ecosa.
Students must obtain consent from a faculty member, academic advisor and/or the registrar at their home institution before attending our programs to be assured that credit will be given. Please let as know in a timely manner if you require any documentation from us to receive credit.CREDIT THROUGH PRESCOTT COLLEGE
Ecosa Institute programs are accredited through Prescott College, a four-year liberal arts college in Prescott, Arizona fully accredited through the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In most cases these credits are transferable to other colleges. Prescott College uses the quarter credit system. The cost for credits is $100.00 per quarter credit. You may receive any amount of undergraduate credit up to 24 quarter credits for the Ecosa program. On average, this translates into 16 semester credits, though each institution accepting these credits will have their own conversion ratio from quarter to semester credits. Students interested in the option are required to have approval from a faculty member, academic advisor and/or the registrar at their home institution. Upon completion of the Ecosa program the student will receive an official transcript from Prescott College.
Written student and faculty evaluations are required in order to receive credit from Prescott College.
