Global climate change

"Global climate change is forcing us to face the question: do we care enough about the world to transform the way we design human artifacts and environments? If so, how do we learn to recognize nature as our most important ‘client’?"

—ANTONY BROWN, DIRECTOR ECOSA INSTITUTE

Client Projects

One of the unique aspects of our programs is that students work with actual clients, real sites and budgets, as opposed to theoretical projects. This allows a blending of practical skills and theory leading to a far more complete understanding of sustainable design. We work on a number of projects each semester both large and small incorporating sustainable design principles while meeting the client’s needs. Following are some of the many projects completed by our students.
